1. Can I try out the TCAG before buying a membership?

Yes! The TCAg offers free 1-week trials. After creating your Xplor account, contact the TCAG’s reception to set up your free trial and register for programs – call (905) 227-0545 ext. 1 or email info@thoroldgroup.org
2. What is an Xplor Account?

Xplor (also called PerfectMind) is the online recreation system the TCAG uses that allows you to:
- Search and register for programs
- Purchase and manage memberships
- Inquire about TCAG space and facilities rentals
- Sign up for camps (PD Day, Summer Camp, March Break, etc.)
Your Xplor account is free and easy to create – you do not need a membership to create one!
3. Do I need to live in Thorold to be a TCAG member?
No, the TCAG is open to everyone in Niagara! Whether you live in Thorold or elsewhere, you are welcome to come to our events, participate in programs, use our services, and more.
4. Do I need a membership to register for programs?

Yes, a majority of our sports and recreation programs require a membership to participate with some exceptions (e.g. one-off programs open to the public, free sport skills programs occasionally offered for youth). Our memberships are all inclusive, flexible, and may be cancelled without penalty.
5. Do I need a membership to register for camps (Summer Camp, PD Day, March Break)?

No, you do not need a TCAG membership to register for camps or childcare programming. However, you will need to create a free Xplor account to register your child.
6. How do I sign up for a membership?

1) Click here to go to Xplor and click “Signup” at the top and fill in your information. If you plan to purchase a Family Membership you must add all family members to your account. Click “My Info” at the top and under “Family Member Detail” click “Add Family Member.”
2) Once your account is made, click “Buy Membership” at the top. If purchasing a Family Membership, add your payment method under the “Head of Household” only.
3) Once your membership has been purchased, log in to Xplor to register for classes, programs, and more.
7. Can I cancel my membership at any time?
Yes, memberships are flexible and can be cancelled without penalty. Please contact TCAG’s reception at least 10 business days before your next monthly renewal by calling (905) 227-0545 ext. 1 or emailing info@thoroldgroup.org.
8. Does the TCAG offer financial assistance?

The TCAG’s Family Support Fund helps families access childcare, camp, and recreation programming. This fund is limited because it is supported solely by donations. In order to stretch it, we ask you to consider paying a portion per week or month so we can help as many people as possible. We are happy to work with you to find an amount that will work for your current situation, and are able to adjust this amount if need be.
Requests should be submitted after registering for an Xplor account but before purchasing a membership. We will reach out to discuss your request within 5 business days. Although we do our best, subsidies are not guaranteed.
