Why should I complete the survey?
Your participation in this survey will help us to shape the vision for the Thorold Community Activities Group (TCAG) for the next 3 years and beyond. We welcome your ideas and input, and appreciate your participation! Whether you're a member with us or have never heard of us before, we want your input!

Why are you doing this survey? 
This information and data collected through this survey will inform the TCAG's 2026-2029 Strategic Plan. A strategic plan is necessary for non-profit organizations (like the TCAG), and is often required to apply for grants and funding. Ideally, all stakeholders (those involved in the organization) should be a part of the strategic planning process - including staff, volunteers, the Board, members, and those served by the TCAG - in this case, the community of Thorold and the wider Niagara Region...

... Strategic planning is a way for an organization to plan their vision for the future and identify their organization's goals and objectives. It acts as a map for the organization, and helps to guide decisions by staff and the TCAG's Board. Strategic Planning includes establishing the order and priority of those goals so that the organization can reach its vision. 

If the survey is anonymous, how do I enter the giveaway?
We do need to collect your name and contact info at the end of the survey in order to contact you should you win, however all information collected in the form will be separated from your contact information. Your answers will only be used for planning and reporting aggregate (anonymous grouped) results. Your answers will not be affiliated with you and will not affect your chances of winning the draw.
